Volunteer State League Announces Cookeville Flyin’ Frogs for 2026 Season
Cookeville, TN — The Volunteer State League is excited to announce the addition of the Cookeville Flyin’ Frogs, a new collegiate summer baseball franchise set to begin play in the 2026 season. The team will call Cookeville home and compete at the Cookeville High School Baseball Field.
The Flyin’ Frogs will take the field beginning in June 2026, with the Volunteer State League season running through early August. The team will feature collegiate players from across the country competing in a wood-bat summer league designed to provide high-level competition while connecting players with local communities.

The Volunteer State League provides a platform for collegiate athletes to continue developing their skills during the summer months while giving fans the opportunity to enjoy affordable, family-friendly baseball in their hometown.
The Flyin’ Frogs will play their home games at the Cookeville High School Baseball Field, offering local fans a chance to experience competitive collegiate baseball throughout the summer.
